Christ Orchard

Pick your own Apples

From mid-September until about mid-October, we allow our customers the experience of picking apples in the orchard. Picking your own apples is a privilege. We trust that our customers will have respect towards our orchard as they would their own possessions so we are able to continue to offer you this experience for years to come.

U-Pick Policies

  • Get your bag from an employee. There is no entrance allowed to the orchard without a bag.
    • On Saturdays, an employee will be at the entrance to give you a bag and instructions. Otherwise, please visit the Apple Shed before heading to the orchard.
  • There are plenty of wagons to put apples and small children in while picking apples. We do not offer a hay ride to the orchard, and no vehicles are allowed in the orchard.
  • After picking, visit the Apple Shed to pay.
  • You must purchase what you pick. Overfull bags will be charged extra. All bags, containers, strollers, and wagons brought into "pick your own" areas may be searched by staff upon exiting.
  • Follow the recommendations for what is ripe.
  • U-Pick (apples and pumpkins) closes at dark. No admission will be allowed after sunset.

  • The best way to pick an apple is to lift the apple and twist off. Pulling down on the apple can cause other apples to fall on the ground.
  • Wash your hands before and after picking apples.
  • Don’t pick up apples off of the ground.
  • The timing and length of the U-Pick season vary each year, so be sure to follow our Facebook page to get updates on when your favorite apple will be ready.

  • There is no admission fee. You simply purchase the bag of apples upon exiting the orchard. Each family or group of 6 must purchase a U-Pick bag.
  • Peck (10 lb) bag: $16
  • ½ Bu (20 lbs) bag: $28
